Michelle D’Amboise, Lic.Ac
Michelle is a dedicated and compassionate healer who loves to work with a variety of health concerns. She has experience working with the entire life span, from day-old infants through senior care. This unique experience allows her to fully understand how to customize acupuncture treatment for each individual need. Michelle can also utilize a non-insertive (non-needle) technique for our pediatric patients who may not be ready for acupuncture needles. Conditions she treats include: depression, anxiety, stress, digestive upsets, migraine and chronic headaches, acute and chronic pain, sleep disturbances, PMS and other gynecological complaints, fertility support including IVF and IUI, or natural conception, allergies, and chronic fatigue.
She found her way to acupuncture initially as a patient, seeking alternative therapies to help with insomnia, fatigue, and headaches when conventional medicine provided little relief. Through a combination of acupuncture, herbal therapy and lifestyle changes she was able to reduce and then fully resolve her symptoms. When the time came for a change in her professional life, acupuncture was again the solution.
Michelle received her BA in Psychology from Castleton University and her Master’s in Acupuncture from New England School of Acupuncture. She licensed in Massachusetts and certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She also manages our Senior Care Clinic, and serves as Adjunct Faculty at the New England School of Acupuncture at MCPHS University. In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors kayaking and hiking in the warmer months, and snowshoeing in the winter.

Lisa was a looking to make a career change and knew she wanted to be in a hands-on profession that would help people make positive changes in their lives. To this day, she can vividly remember how amazing she felt after the first treatment. Lisa then decided to move to Maryland to attend acupuncture school.
