Lisa was a looking to make a career change and knew she wanted to be in a hands-on profession that would help people make positive changes in their lives. Around the same time, she was having a lot of neck pain and was getting migraines on a regular basis. As someone who always looks to natural remedies before turning to Western medicine or medications, when a friend suggestion acupuncture, Lisa gave it a try. It worked what felt like a miracle. To this day, she can vividly remember how amazing she felt after the first treatment. Lisa then decided to move to Maryland to attend acupuncture school.
She graduated with a Master of Acupuncture degree from Tai Sophia Institute (now Maryland University of Integrative Health) in 2009. She was licensed and practicing acupuncture in Maryland before moving to Massachusetts.
